The CISCO Academy is a consortium project under private public partnerships by GIZ, Norad, Inclusive Futures, Education for Development (E4D). The program is aimed at fostering the demands of the digital workplace by addressing the emerging IT skills needs - and fulfill the aspirations of organizations in diversity and inclusion of people with disabilities through employment.
The Academy is aimed at providing training and certification of people with disabilities as CISCO Certified Technicians (CCT) and Cisco Certified Network Associates in Security (CCNA Security).
In an effort to embrace continuous improvement and to expand the scope of demand-driven training programs in Industrial Training, and in response to the inclusivity needs of youth with disabilities for employable skills, and for business continuity post-Covid 19 pandemic, where businesses are going virtual technology in work and businesses, the CISCO Academy partnered with NITA to enhance training to advance ICT skills.
