Government trade test charts a broad roadmap for efficient quality industrial training and skills development for enhanced productivity. The trade tests tap especially into the country’s informal economy which is a key carrier of opportunities for sustainable employment and innovation.

The Korea International Co-operation Agency [KOICA] is an international agency funded by the Korean government to support 3 pillars of socio-economic development as stated in the United Nations Development Programme [UNDP] agenda on increasing productivity through workforce competency development and skilled manpower matching the dynamism in technology.

NITA has partnered with BaseTitanium in Technical Trade Apprenticeship Program. Apprenticeship opportunities exist within the fields of electrical, mechanical and automotive engineering.Apprentices’ will gain experience, not only in their trade but also in general work and life skills.

Towards fulfilling its mission under Section 7C of the Industrial Training (Amendment) Act 2011, NITA has been granted the mandate to facilitate Industrial Training through partnerships aimed at driving the Transformation Agenda of the Authority as part of the wider efforts at fully realizing the Authority’s mandate and meeting the Government’s Big Four Agenda.
