Towards fulfilling its mission under Section 7C of the Industrial Training (Amendment) Act 2011, NITA has been granted the mandate to facilitate Industrial Training through partnerships aimed at driving the Transformation Agenda of the Authority as part of the wider efforts at fully realizing the Authority’s mandate and meeting the Government’s Big Four Agenda.
The Teso North Constituency Fund under the initiative of the Member of Parliament Hon. Oku Kaunya has partnered with the National Industrial Training Authority to skill one thousand beneficiaries (1,000) in demand-driven skill areas commencing in October 2020.
On 8th September 2020, through a Gazette Notice No. 6954 the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection Hon. Simon Chelugui appointed six (6) Board members of the 3rd Board effective 24th August 2020 comprising 3 members each from FKE and COTU respectively.
National Industrial Training Authority has partnered with the County government of Makueni, Eurofix Industries Ltd and National Construction Authority in a skill upgrading programme in the construction sector.
